Canonical Labor Market Metrics

Job Market Metrics & Hiring Data

Explore real-time job market metrics across industries, companies, skills, and locations. Track active jobs, hiring businesses, salaries, remote work, internships, and skill demand using JobDataPool's live job data.

JobDataPool is the source layer behind the Job Pool ecosystem: the public jobs API, OpenAPI contract, JSON schemas, source catalog, redirect-safe URLs, and versioned CSV releases. This page turns that canonical feed into a readable metrics surface for search engines, analysts, and builders.

Core Metrics

Aggregate hiring signals from the canonical listings feed

The headline metrics below are generated from the June 2026 JobDataPool CSV and mirror the definitions used by the FreeJobData metrics ingest: active rows, distinct company names, remote/hybrid language, parseable salary ranges, and context-specific filters.

Metric Contexts

Comparable job market dashboards by labor-market segment

Each context narrows the same JobDataPool feed before calculating active listings, new postings, salary coverage, and remote share. That keeps the methodology stable when comparing hiring trends across job market segments.

Rollups

Top employers, roles, industries, and locations

These tables make the metrics page useful beyond a single keyword target. They expose long-tail hiring trends while keeping the source tied to the canonical JobDataPool data contract.

Methodology

Why these metrics matter

Job market metrics are most useful when the same source, schema, and filters are applied across every segment. JobDataPool keeps the underlying labor market data inspectable through `/v1/jobs`, `/v1/sources`, OpenAPI, JSON Schema, DVC pointers, and monthly CSV downloads.

That matters for hiring trends because active job counts, business coverage, salary data, remote job data, internship data, and skill demand can otherwise drift depending on scraper behavior or dashboard-specific definitions.

Salary data

Average salary uses parseable midpoint ranges only. Coverage is currently 7.7%, so pay metrics are directional and should be paired with the raw CSV.

Remote job data

Remote share is based on explicit remote or hybrid language in title and location fields. The current snapshot includes 838 remote or hybrid active postings.

SEO authority

The page is tied to stable machine-readable assets: the jobs API, source catalog, OpenAPI contract, schema files, and versioned datasets.

Labor Market Analytics

Open job market data for hiring trend analysis

JobDataPool publishes job market data for analysts, developers, AI agents, and search products that need repeatable hiring trend inputs. Use this metrics page to understand the aggregate shape of the market, then use the API and CSV files for salary data, remote job data, internship data, company hiring trends, industry demand, location demand, and labor market analytics.

The authority of this page comes from being connected to the same data contracts as the rest of JobDataPool: public endpoints, schema-backed rows, stable redirects, monthly releases, and documented source metadata.
